Hello world!

Almost every local business ends up needing this. You serve six areas, or ten, and you want a page for each one so that people searching in those places can find you. Then you sit down to write the second page and realise it is going to say exactly the same thing as the first.
That is the problem this section solves. Copying one page and swapping the place name gives you a set of pages that add nothing, read badly, and are unlikely to do you any good in search results. But writing ten genuinely different pages about the same service feels impossible when the service really is the same everywhere.
It is not impossible. It just means finding what actually changes from one area to another, which is usually more than people expect: travel time, the age of the housing, the kind of jobs that come up most often, which landmarks people use to give directions, and what local customers tend to ask about first.
The guides here cover how to research an area before writing about it, how to structure a set of location pages so they support each other, how to write for businesses with no shop or office, and what to write for Google Business Profile.
